Building competence and capacity
Many of our clients tell us they have inherited the responsibility for data protection and cyber security concerns for their business. This additional responsibility is often in addition to their normal and primary activities. Others tell us they simply find it difficult to apply consistent application of time to the task in hand or don’t know what information online they should trust or applies to their specific situation. Our Data Protection Mastery Groups are designed to solve these problems.
How it works
Meeting monthly for ½ a day, each Data Protection Mastery Group is designed to build a trust group that will out-live the 12 month program. Each session will have both a formal “training and development” and a “solving your own challenges” related to the month’s chosen topic. Sessions will be lead by specialists in their respective fields.
Each Mastery Group is limited to 8 people, with a maximum of 2 from a single organisation and members will sign a covenant and group non-disclosure agreement before joining.
Why take this INSIGHT Mastery Group?
Each lesson can be taken off line, either with a 1-2-1 with the guide (at extra charge), or by engaging with your cohort, the other Mastery Group members.
There are two big benefits from this approach. The first is the creation of a shared experience with a coach at a much cheaper rate than the coach would otherwise charge.
The second is the creation of a ‘cohort’ or support group for your learning as you progress, outside of the work the coach is doing. This allows for extremely deep learning and real-life support for the people in the group. This is arguably more important than the learning!
The value in this experience is all about the people around you, what you learn certainly, but also having people to lean on in difficult times.

The regulatory environment, recent changes. Data protection strategy. The data audit, automation tools. Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Breaches. Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) Data Sharing agreements. HR. Privacy notices. Marketing. Cyber Security. IT fundamentals. ePrivacy.
Members of the group must be prepared to sign a group NDA prior to first day of the program. Venue for meetings may move around the area to suit the members. Members have the opportunity to host meetings at their locations.
The Course Investment is £1,800+ Vat per person
1 x Mastery Group meeting per month. Each meeting is 3 hours in length.
Max 2 delegates from a single organisation. Substitutions not allowed unless agreed with Cybata in advance
Appropriate workbook / materials provided for sessions. Suitable closed communication group for all Mastery Group members
